AGUS CENTER PRAYS G20 PEAK EVENTS STAY SAFE AND CONDUCIVE
I Putu Agus Putra Sumardana, SH who is also the founder of the Agus Center is very enthusiastic and ready to support the implementation of the G20 Summit which will take place in Nusa Dua Badung on 15-16 November 2022. The G20 Summit has the goal of ensuring the world gets out of crisis and creates global economic growth strong and sustainable. The G20 member countries include Indonesia, Italy, South Africa, United States of America, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, India, United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Russia, France, China, Turkey, and the European Union.
The G20 has a strategic role in securing future global economic growth and prosperity. G20 members directly represent more than 60 percent of the world's population, 75 percent of global trade and 80 percent of the world's GDP.
The G20 Summit according to I Putu Agus Putra Sumardana, SH can be used as Indonesia to reconcile directly conflicting countries (Russia and Ukraine conflict) and focus on steps to ensure the implementation of the G20 runs smoothly and productively, so that Indonesia can contribute to maintaining global stability.
The G-20 Summit in 2022 can also be a forum for Indonesia to show Indonesia's success in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and the Indonesian government can prove that the implementation of health protocols and vaccinations is running optimally. According to I Putu Agus Putra Sumardana, SH, who is also a young Balinese advocate, said that “For Bali itself the G-20 Summit in 2022 is a momentum to boost tourism. The island of Bali is one of the most visited tourist destinations by people from various parts of the world.
The G-20 Summit in 2022 is expected to be a momentum for the revival of Bali, whose economy had slumped during the COVID-19 pandemic, this is because the G-20 Summit will bring thousands of foreign delegates who are able to give positive signals for tourism actors in Bali. Therefore, I Putu Agus Putra Sumardana, SH hopes that the Balinese people can show a positive, friendly and safe image for foreign delegates representing member countries of the G-20 Summit.
I Putu Agus Putra Sumardana, SH is reported to have founded the AGUS CENTER in Klungkung-Bali, because Agus Putra Sumardana & Simpatisan who are from ordinary people want to be in the midst of society, to be able to feel the suffering of the community, fight together & be happy with them. The AGUS CENTER in Klungkung-Bali is expected to be able to provide Legal & Political Services for the Klungkung Community, while still helping to find solutions to the economic problems of the Klungkung people who are slumped due to this endless pandemic. AGUS CENTER itself consists of the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) Pemuda Sejati which consists of several advocates/lawyers and is assisted by several paralegals, law students and legal activists.
AGUS CENTER, which is coordinated by Bali Lawyer I Nyoman Miarsa, SH., SPd also encourages the creation of democratic government, including free and fair elections, and the peaceful transfer of power. AGUS CENTER is of the view that a country cannot become a democracy if it does not have the concept of Reschtsstaat. A democratic rule of law will always be connected and integrated from the three basic substances it contains, the constitution, democracy and the law itself. In the field of economics, AGUS CENTER is of the view that Indonesia is a member of the G20 or a group of countries with the largest economies in the world, with Indonesia's economic growth in recent years in the range of 5%.
AGUS CENTER according to I Nyoman Miarsa SH., SPd as the coordinator is as a forum to receive the aspirations of the community, especially the people of Klungkung Bali, in order to respond to issues that are developing in the current society. In the world of Bali tourism, AGUS CENTER reminds the Government of the obligation to provide legal protection for the safety of tourists, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The legal protection in question is protection from all kinds of disturbances to tourists caused by theft, pickpocketing, fraud, extortion, persecution, or murder. The regulation of legal protection for tourists is regulated in Law no. 10 of 2009 concerning Tourism Article 20 letter c states that "every tourist has the right to legal protection and security". It is stated in Article 26 paragraph (d) that the tourism entrepreneur is obliged to provide comfort, friendliness, protection of security and safety of tourists.
